7 Days Tanzania to Kenya Safaris

Day 1
On arrival at KIA, you are met by a heri Africa tours driver/guide for the drive to Arusha national park which gives you to explore nature at its closest. The most striking landmarks are Mount Meru and the ngurdotocardera, smallSerengeti wild life here includes hippopotamus, zebra,giraffe,warthog,waterbuckreedbuck, also in forest there are plenty of velvetmonkey, blue monkeys and olive baboons. Although you won’t hear the ferocious roar of a lion very often, otherbig cats can be sighted. Game rout till evening when you arrive in hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2
After breakfast Early morning you should departure from hotel to KIA for flight to Nairobi
On arrival at JKIA drive to amboseli national parkspend a further day in the park on morning and afternoon game viewing drives.
National Park, famous for its big game and scenic beauty with the landscape,
the appearance, there is a continuous supply of water that gets filtered through volcanic rocksfrom Kilimanjaro’s melted snow. These streams flow underground, creating lush green areas, and converge at two clear water springs in the park. You will arrive in time for lunch. Afternoongame drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at AMBOSELI SENTRIM CAMP or similar.(full board)Spend a further day in the park on morning and afternoon game viewing drives. Wildlife hereincludes the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, caracal and serval cat, lion, leopard, cheetah, buffalo, wild dog among others. There are also over 400 species of birds, including the beeeater,kingfisher, African fish eagle, martial eagle and pygmy falcon. Visitors mainly come towatch the huge herds of elephants. The bull elephants have some of the largest tusks in all ofKenya. Visitors can also enjoy excellent views of Mt Kilimanjaro and Meru. All meals and

Day 3: Amboseli / Aberdares (Approx 7.5 hrs drive)
Day 3
After breakfast, check out with picnic lunches and drive towards Aberdare National Park which
Contains the second largest population of the Black Rhino, unique to Kenya. Arrive in time forlunch at the Aberdare Country Club. Later, you are transferred to the tree lodge in a sharedvehicle. Animals easily observed include the lion, leopard, baboon, black and white Colobus,and Sykes monkey. Rarer sightings include those of the Golden Cat and the Bongo – an elusiveforest antelope that lives in the bamboo forest. Dinner and overnight at ARK LODGE or similar.(full board).
Day 4: Aberdares / Lake Nakuru (Approx 4 hrs drive)
Day 4
After breakfast and check-out, drive to Lake Elementaita and check-in at the camp followed by Lunch. After lunch drive onwards to Lake Nakuru National Park for an afternoon game viewingdrive. Notable game within the lake includes hippo and clawless otters. On the shores roamWaterbuck, Bohor’s Reedbuck and zebra. The woodlands and forest are now home to bothBlack and white rhino. Buffalo, leopard, lion, Rothschild’s giraffe, Black and White ColobusMonkey are plentiful in the forest. The bush lands offer eland, steenbok, impala, Chandler’s,Reedbuck and dik-dik, whilst rock hyrax and klipspringer occupy the cliffs and escarpment.
Transfer back for dinner and overnight at SENTRIM ELEMENTAITA CAMP or similar (full board).
Day 5: Lake Nakuru / Maasai Mara (Approx 6 hrs drive)
Day 5
After breakfast, check-out and drive to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, so named to mean the“spotted plains” in the Maa language. This is home to the greatest concentration of largemammals and is widely recognized as Africa’s ultimate wildlife reserve. The park is the northernextension to the vast Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, famous for its annual migration of wildebeest.
Arrive for lunch at the camp and later depart for an evening game viewing drive until sunset inthis spectacular place of breathtaking sceneries, never-ending plains and the most abundantvariety of wildlife remaining anywhere in the world. The landscape is made up of rollingsavannahs dotted with patchy shrubs and bush thickets. Dinner and overnight atNYUMBU CAMP or similar (full board)

Day 6: Maasai Mara
Day 6
Spend a further day of game watching with morning and afternoon game drives. Wildlife isabundant in the Reserve with the gentle grasslands ensuring that animals are never out ofsight. Birds are prolific including immigrants, 450 bird species have been recorded amongthem 57 birds of prey. Every year the Mara plays host to the world’s greatest natural spectacle;
The Great Wildebeest Migration from the Serengeti. The big cats – lion, leopard, and cheetah -follow the wildebeest, essentially their main source of food, into the Mara. The Mara at thistime is literally packed with wildlife, providing lucky visitors on safari with superb sightings ofgame. All meals and overnight at NYUMBU CAMP or similar (full board).
Day 7: Maasai Mara / Nairobi / Depart
Day 7
After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi to arrive in time for lunch on own account. Later you areTransferred to JKIA for your out bound flight.
