Mkomazi National Park
This park is located in Tanzania’s eastern arc close to the Pare Mountains, Mkomazi Game Reserve is the focus of an intensive breeding program to save the endangered black rhinos. Tourist facilities in this remote area are very sparse, so not many people bother to visit Mkomazi. It is a place reserved for truly interested visitors.
Mkomazi game reserve offers wildlife safaris, walking wildlife safaris and cultural walking safaris. Black rhino was re-introduced into the area from South Africa along with wild hunting dog. Dry Savannah plains giving a striking contrast to the bordering Pare mountain ranges. Rolling hills forest areas.
